Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26 April 1984) is an actor, comedian and known for expressing her wit in a humorous manner. Her name is April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. The show's debut was the Jeannie Tate Show, a web series after performing sketches and improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her next appearance was in Judd Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim in vs. the World at the end of her career. Her birth should be celebrated today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington, Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza, an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother is Irish and English and her father comes from Puerto Rico. Plaza received her education from an all-girls Catholic high school that she attended in 2002, and then the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University in 2006. When she was a senior in high school she was President of the Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. Plaza was struck by a stroke during her second year of the college. This left her with an expressive aphasia, as well with a paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Plaza has performed improv comedy, and sketches at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two locations in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza was a part of E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show featuring Ben Schwartz and also the premiere Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers was a satirical scifi show that aired on CollegeHumor with her as the role of Princess. Plaza made her saxophone debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. In 2012 she performed her debut on saxophone in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. On HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee as a grinning gnome. That that same year she also played Aaron Burr on Drunk History as well as Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. Criminal Minds. In Season 12, she made a successful comeback in the role. The following year, the actress was confirmed as appearing as a character in An Evening of Beverly Luff Linn, a comedy indie.
