Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the theatre. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to taking on film and television role. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. In addition, she played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on the role of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. The drama of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The decline of their relationship is similar to Walter White's last days.
